Opinion: The case for captive animals

The tragic death of a trainer at Sea World last week revived a number of long simmering questions. Hell no...its not called a killer whale for no reason...plus its killed 2 other people

fuck it just sell it to the japs they will by whales. save them the trouble of one crew of ppl to go hunting them.

It can be there if we want it to be. An for the most part we do. The people that interact with the animals know the risks, they sign wavers and contracts. The trainers are trained to interact with the animals and they noticed that the whale was pissed off before the show, and decided to ignore that fact and thus someone paid the price. Not the whale's fault its the trainer's.

I don't think they should be caged. We can't truly control them. That whale didn't go berserk, it went Whale.
