You should give up smoking anyway. Doing it for Lent implies that you're going to start up again once it's over.
As for me, I don't know. I'm not really religious, but maybe I'll give up something.

well thats why im doing it for lent. if i do it for lent, i know i'll be able to quit for 40 days, and by then i'm sure i won't need them anymore, so i will have quit for good. but i don't know yet if thats what i'm gonna do

most of my dead family members died because of smoking. hope you can quit. as for i dont think i'll be doing anything.

I fast because I'm over 17 years old and the Church requires I do so on Ash wensday and every friday of lent. It also requires I give up something to "draw closer to God". Though I do it more because of tradition. Originally Posted by Jdawg
