A lot of this depends your body, since every person's body is different. Honey itself is the perfect intra-workout supplement that is dirt cheap for a large quantity. Basically, sipping some of it during a work out will help burn many more calories. As far as it working while you sleep, the results will be negligible, and results will differ based on your body. I'd do some more research on it, is the only advice I can give.
