So I have recently decided to break my caffeine addiction. And its not going well ><
Im so used to drinking 3-4 cups of coffee in the morning and another 1 or 2 in the afternoon. I'm drinking green tea right now and what can I say? I think it tastes like shit. Having massive head aches all day is not fun anyone else have this problem?

Green tea shouldn't taste bad. Did you brew it yourself?
Also that's way too much caffeine and sugar. You should try cutting back hardcore and drinking water while you avoid sugar and caffeine fore a couple of weeks. Then slowly you can reintroduce them in moderation. You should have one cup of coffee or soda day at most. Ideally not every day.
I admittedly drink a lot of tea, though I don't sweeten it much if at all and I drink all kinds of weird herbal teas and stuff.

I get headaches after I drink coffee, I try to avoid coffee when I can. Try slowly replacing water to satisfy your thirst.

Try, because part of you addiction is the routine you have, Have 3-4 cups of warm/hot (about the same temp as the coffee would be) in the morning and 1-2 in the afternoon. try Midol for the headaches, its being cause cause of the caffeine withdraw, Midol has caffeine so it will help you there.
Find something else you like to drink. I've found bottles of water with walmart water flavor packet things helps me. I had a friend she got carbonated flavor water.
Also, if you just cant do it. Have a cup. But only 1.
Good luck^_^

Wow that's a lot of coffee haha, I'm also a coffee addict but not as hardcore as you are. I'm an Indonesian, so it's really hard for me to quit drinking coffee when your all your buddies drink coffee. I think you should only drink coffee twice a day, one cup in the morning and another at night. Have you try luwak coffee though? I heard it's expensive outside my country but I think you should try it, it's not as addictive as other coffee.

Tea is a great start for weaning off caffeine. It's my only exception to my no caffeine life, but me and it don't really cross paths often. It is delicious, though. Maybe you should try different brands. Iced versus hot, sugar versus sugar free. Maybe try changing your mindset of what you expect it to taste like -- because most teas are not long island sugarfucks and aren't supposed to be. They're water 2.0, not soft drinks lite.
Also, why are you quitting [mostly] cold turkey? Instead of limiting yourself to one cup a day or something to ease the headaches?
