I want to focus more on my drawing, but I keep coming back to sites like gaia and junk.
I told charles I wanted to leave this forum, but I stayed for a little longer and now I check back here really often.
So what's your remedy for getting yourself to leave places like this? or gaia, or just random sites that aren't going to help you in the long run

How do you get yourself to stop going back to things like the internet?

YOU CAN NEVER LEAVE LG
But also, just getting off the computer can keep you off the Internet. Hit the gym. Go for a walk. It's that initial break that's hard. When you're on the computer, and deciding, "I will do something different now." Once you're out and about and doing whatever it is you decide to do, the Internet and all becomes a lot less salient in your mind. Decide on something to do, and then go do it.
But also after you make time for LG.
(Also also, drawing for LG is a thing. Go draw that Pokemans that guy paid for. )

I normally get banned if I quit a website (not forums, but websites like gaia and such) that way I have nothing to ever go back too and if I do it'll be so much work ill lose interest in doing it all over again...

How do you get banned after quitting a website, or do you mean that you quit a website when you get banned?
As for the OP, whenever I need to get more productive and stop visiting certain websites for a while, I use a plugin for my internet browser that blocks certain cites (for example, LeechBlock for Firefox).

Will power and moderation. Also you most likely have trained yourself to check the/be on the internet. If you actively train yourself to do something else for about two weeks you will break the habit. Getting lost in your work helps. When I sit down to write music or practice an instrument I get into the frame of mind involved in doing so and block out other things until I'm done or too tired to continue.

Find something that interests you. Go out an have fun.
I started to hit the gym and hang out with my friends more recently.
And for gaya I just kinda got bored of it and sold my account so I wouldn't be able to come back.
Humans yawn when they think of it.
