Does anybody still play this game? Anyone still interested in playing this game?
I might do a 2 hour test in P2P to see if it's worth playing any more for high leveled F2P characters.
If it's worth it I will need to purchase P2P sooner or later.
All of my Runescape friends have recently turned their backs to this game and have switched to WoW saying that it's better than Runescape will ever be, do you agree?
I know Diablo 3 has probably taken a majority of the players, but it's still worth the look.
Post will be added after the test.

Jagex and their greatness has decided to give me a 14 day free membership trial! So I will check it out and let you guys know how it goes. Still only a 2 hour test.

Things that they have changed since I have last played (Botageddon 2012):
x the overlay is a lot different, grungier
x a tool belt that carries tools for you? not quite sure how it works yet
x news updates that tells you when someone reaches 99 or 120 or completionist cape
x bots are back, not sure who owns them/what program

I still play it lol.
*With the tool belt. It is just like having the tools in your inventory but you don't. Saves a space.
*Bots are most definitely back and bigger than ever lol. You can get your friendly neighborhood bots are epicbot, rarebot, rsbot(powerbot) and simba. I'd post website links but I don't know if that is allowed. Plus all you gotta do is google.
Jagex is making a new combat system that reminds me a lot (From what i have seen/heard) of a WoW combat system.

The game was better back in 06. I miss the old days man brings back memories. Well anyways, leveling is MUCH easier now than it was in the old version. It took me like 2 years to get to combat 54, cooking 34, and woodcutting 56. And I played a lot.

Runescape is what Me and my 21 year old brother played in like 2002. Shits old, hell, I bet its just mainly a botting game now.

It's not worth playing anymore. They just outright fucked it up to be completely honest. It used to be fun back in 07, 08, and even 09/10. 2011 and 2012 the updates just kept making it worse and worse. With the addition of EoC, in my opinion that just completely ruined the game. It's not the same game anymore. It's like they tried to copy off WoW style games with the dumb hotkey bar. EoC, the "evolution of combat" basically removed all of Runescape's (in my opinion) cool and unique features to the game and added a bunch of shitty ones that are mainstream in most RPGs. Though JaGeX went under new ownership, which is probably why the change was so drastic and pitiful. They removed special attacks, classical PvP (to Runescape) and all of this other shit that actaully made it fun. A lot of the fun of Runescape was not really knowing what would happen next when you first discovered it, and then after you already knew everything what was fun was to merchant items, and collect them and try to flip them for profit to get new better items or stuff to level up your skills with. With the addition of the grand exchange, it kind of ruined that part. But it was still kinnda fun after that because they brought back old PvP and removed trade limits.
Basically long story short, EoC sucks crap... It completely ruined the game, and 07 scape just doesn't have the same feeling, even though it's exactly the same. :/ Idk why. Also I don't want to get all my levels over again (seeing as I personally maxed all my stats and had all level 99s.)
Don't try to play anymore, you'll just be disappointed and mad.

Yeah, used to play back in '06/'07 and started playing again but soon gave up. They just changed too much, and even though you can play the '06 server, it's only available to those premium members that are willing to pay extra. I'll stick with Settlers Online & Anno Online.

Never played Settlers Online or Anno Online... Are they games like Runescape or just completely new games that you play? But yeah, stay away from Runescape, everyone... Unless maybe of course you've never played it before and then therefore can't remember the better times and how low the game has finally gotten to over the years. This is also coming from a maxed player who has devoted lots and lots of countless hours to the game. Pretty much wasted hours too, if you want to know the truth. Don't see myself ever going back to this game again, infact I might sell my main account soon to rack in a good $200-300...

They're the "build city-expand-build city-repeat" sort-of game, basically just Settlers and Anno in your browser. Back when I played Runescape, I actually gave my account away to someone else ingame. When I returned a couple months ago, the password still was the same but due to recent changes ingame, everything was reset. That's basically why I just gave up. Stupid Jagex...

Runescape is same old, same old. Maybe a few new features, but still worth a play.
