Screenshots would make this thread a lot better, but I would like to see what kinds of Slayer Gear you guys go training Slayer with.
If you don't do Slayer than this thread could be used as a reference when you do.
This is one of the usual set-ups for me. I use the Brackish Blade + Dragon Defender for that very strong Stab bonus for monsters that are weak against Stab.
This is my set-up for when I am going to a monster that requires Prayer. The Initiate armour gives a slight bonus to Prayer which slows the drain rate a little bit. The Whip + Dragon Defender provides a very nice Slash bonus that is great for monsters that are weak against Slash attacks.

Yeah, I never found Guthans as reliable. I always feel safer going along with a Whip or Brackish Blade. Sooner or later I will find a better stab item.
I also use the Bunyip which is very helpful.
