Welcome!
Welcome, I am writing this guide mainly for those of us who intend to sell Runescape accounts, as removing recovery questions is basically mandatory if you'd like sellers. This'll be set up in a step-by-step guide, and I'll even attempt to do some pictures for you! So let's begin.
1. First, go to Runescape's homepage. Then click on the Account tab, then on the Account Management tab underneath that.
2. Go down to the bottom of the options, and click on Recover Password, underneath the Account Recovery section.
3. Obviously, type in the name of the account you wish to sell, then after that click on the recover stolen password option that comes up.
4. At this point, if you have an email registered to the account, go ahead and choose that option, then type it in. It will help your chances of recovering your own account. If not, choose the recover manually option.
- If you chose the email option, you'll be taken to this page. Check your email and fill in the code in the message you receive.
5. Regardless if you use the email or not, you'll then come to the following page. Fill it in as best you can. The more you fill it in, the more likely you'll successfully recover the account.
6. When you finish, you'll get a tracking code. Fill that in when you're asked for it to confirm it. Then check back in a few hours or a day or two and see if your recovery application worked. If it did, then the password will be changed to the one you set it as in the form, and the recoverys will be reset. Thus enabling you to sell the account to a MUCH broader audience.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope it helps you. Criticism is appreciated.

Good guide, I like it. Also though, say you knew your friends password and you told him to change it. That would give you an even greater advantage because you knew a previous password. I recently got 2 accounts just from clicking the check mark on "I didnt set recovery questions"

Thank you for your comments. Although, I kinda figure Jagex would know if you're lying if you say no recovs were set and there were.
