Hello LG,
I am thinking of getting members again on my RS account, though I was wondering if it is really worth it. I have not been on Runescape for a while now and so I was curious if there has been any recent members updates that are actually worth subscribing for.
Thanks

ahh okays well..
from what i know, being a member is pretty sweet.
back in 2002 i used to have a GREAT mem main account, till i forgot all about it =/
*crie's*
its great because u get to use more than a non mem can, plus not only are they more items, the whole map's your's to roam around.
i used to farm herb's, i used to make atleast 3mil per 3 hour's in the dungeon killin chaos druids to get herb's such as rannar.
but yeah its up too you, ill probs get a acc again, make a new 1 and start fresh, kinda sounds like a plan.╔════════════════════════╗

Members is always better, you get access to large chunks of the game as well as the member skills. If you can afford it, member is better. The leveling of certain skills can be a pain though *looks at Hunter, go figure.*

For all the stuff that happens around here, LG itself is always remarkably unchanged. Thanks to the folks who still remembered I was once here and welcomed me back despite me being retarded.

hahaha true noob.
but in most aspect's of the game, member's usually have the upper hand, due to more available, in aspect's of area's, items (Armour, food etc) , class's, and quest's.
but on the same token, its the same as non mem to be a mem, because either way if both can use mining etc, and there's no upside in advance quicker or wat ever if ur a mem or non mem. well that depends on what area you go to train, am i right?╔════════════════════════╗

exactly - members have a lot more training options for a lot of skills, take for instance Prayer (worshipping Ectofuntus or something like that) or certain woodcutting/mining spots, or w/e.
Now, the fact remains however, that you still have to watch yourself while training. And be sure to look out for random events, nuff saidMy contributions:

Membership is worth it kinda if you have the money to spare.
Most of the new updates are members only.
- 10 Nov. 2009 03:10pm #11
No, it's not worth it, for pure's at least. What's the point of ruining a good pure by giving him 60 attack UNLESS you plan on permanently keeping the membership. His PVP life would be ruined from then on. but if it's a main or high level tank, I say go for it.

I think it's worth it.

If you want it to bot, don't get it. It does not lower your ban rate at all, so only buy it if you are planning to play legit.
- 11 Nov. 2009 02:06am #14
Yeah don't buy members just for better botting spots.
- 11 Nov. 2009 04:49am #15
Nah, I don't intend to bot. I never have on my main anyway.
- 13 Nov. 2009 01:01am #16
I would say it is definitely worth it if you actually play the game. If you just play once in a while don't do it. I canceled mine because I got so bored of the game (for like the 50th time) and will probably end up re-subscribing eventually.
