Myself and HTML are thinking about holding a runescape event. Winners would win accounts, worth a few mil each GP. I just want to know whuld participate! This would be an IN GAME event, meaning you have to login to the game to join us.

In the event you will be allowed to make a new account and join at anytime, the prizes are very worth the little wait of creating the new account. This event is to try and get LG up and running 100% again and will let the hard working members of LG get a chance to compete for something nice! You don't have an rs account? Then join anyway! It doesn't matter! Even if you don't like RS these accounts will guarntee you 10$ or more on any runescape account selling website! We will have more details soon!

It depends mainly on the fact, F2P or P2P, because there isn't much to do in F2P, but there are a lot more opportunities in P2P, which not everyone could afford. In F2P, you could have a race from Lumbridge to like Draynor or Edgeville, or you could have a race from Falador to Karajma, who knows.
I can only really see races in F2P, but P2P you could have agility races, or Castle Wars.
Or F2P you could have a mega duel tournament, levels would need to be balanced though.
I don't know, it'd be difficult to have a Runescape event that wouldn't be one-sided.

is pk still around in RS? it used to be there when i used to play but i donno if it got taken out

for the event u can see who can chop the most wood or mine the most iron in a given time period, and if there is pk we can have 1v1 pks while only using the armors we make ourselves.

We can do something on a weekend and at the same time we all make a new account and whoever can get a certain skill up first will get the prizes etc.

not really, races and hide/seek doesnt matter what kind of accounts u have. i dont think there are items that let you run faster or anything like that.

Hm, well with the new accounts thing one of the hosts can make a series of hotmails for people participating and activate the account when the contest starts. Once the contest is over, then the hosts can login into the accounts. But that's too much work I'm guessing.

If it'll be hide and seek can it be F2P. That way there's no pots being used, etc.

but I don't think we should do a skill level raising contest, because people will just bot.

On races there are also teleports, so high lvl mages would be imbalanced...

Obviously we'd be able to tell if you teleported.

We'd have myself at the start/finish line, and we'd have HTML at the one I'm not at, you'd race from me to him, and obviously it takes longer then 5 seconds to run from Fally to Varrock, so we'd be able to tell.
