i agree on both halfs but more for no. as it would be useful as not everyone wants to give out there msn adrress but it would recieve tons of spam and unuseful comments so more no.
edit was just clearing it up a bit

The point being,
Chat box lags the server, it lags the forum, it lags your computer.
MSN, give your address to only the people you want to talk to (thats a plus) and you can log in and out as your feel necessary, you can do private conversations, or group conversations, even video chat, and voice chat, therefore MSN is better.
Again, this is a done deal.
