It's getting fucking annoying how people seem to think that zOMG rings count as the worth. They should not count as the worth unless they are unsoulbound, in which case you say somewhere OTHER than the tektek that you have them, and what their CL's are. And when you say somewhere other than the tektek that you have them, include the average buy price for that CL, meaning around what that CL goes for from other people that are selling.
This should almost be counted as scamming, because zOMG rings are no use to people who don't want them.

zOMG rings not counted as part of the worth, unless they are not soulbound

Oh, that's why. But still, people should at least post the worth without zOMG rings. It's not that hard..
I have an account that could be worth over 50m with the zOMG rings, considering it has like 30 CL 10s along with at least 40 other rings and around 500 recipes.
But without them, it's worth around 200k. Funny, eh?

there is an way, but it would require a little bit of effort. if you go onto tektek, copy and paste the individual tabs of your inventory and paste them into the calculator individually.
and yes, if you want to get technical, it does diminish the value of an account once you subtract the worth of the rings.
so just do it the easy way. copy and paste a little bit more. its not rocket science.Voted Hottest Male Member

That doesn't make any sense for Tektek to exclude values on a per-browser basis. Either Tektek includes zOMG rings or it doesn't. And which it does can't be avoided. People aren't going to bother calculating each item individually.
Honestly, LG needs its own damn calculator. Maybe I should make one. =/

You know, theres a lovely little guide in the gaia section on how to turn soulbound rings into profit. Quite a good read.

You'll just destroy those rings to turn them into orbs..
Ont: If they follow sk8r's rule, then it's not something that bad actually.
If the account's items are in a proper order (decreasing order) it shouldn't be that hard to seperate the rings to the items.
Ohh, and most of the sellers usually say the worth of all the rings.
I don't see any reason to consider it a scam too.

I think people should not include them either unless its a strictly zomg account...i bought an account from google worth 7mil but withought rings i got 3mil...This is fucking annoying

Seriously... The seller is just putting the estimated worth. If the buyer doesnt want to pay that high then he/she can waste their time and add up everything.
What I do, is I tektek with the rings and add an estimated guess on how much it is without the rings.. Usually take a few mil off.[Most of the time..but Sometime I forget]

- 12 Jan. 2010 02:49am #14So might as well tell them to copy only the Equip part of gaia inventory unless if it is expencive fish crap or unsoulbound rings ;D

I think it would be a great thing to include.

Dumbasses need to read the thread. You can make easy profit from rings, even when soulbound.

Dumbass needs to not call people dumbasses. Dumbass.
"Easy profit" is not what we're into. We're into quick and gold worth sales. Sure. The item MAY be worth 700000000 gold, but do ANY of us want to sit there and play Gaya's boring ass shit just to get it? Hell no. I mean, some do, but seriously.

How much did you get it off again? What was the price you paid?... Yeah, that's what I thought...

It does not work on Firefox, if you use Firefox to get a worth, no matter what tab you are on, or at least EVERY time I try, it WILL bring up the rings and other tabs as well.

I find anything from the ZOMG game pointless to sell, but I dont like playing it to begin with. They're not popular items to sell so I find the rings and whatnot (no matter what they're level is) worthless.
