Make it so there can only be up to 2-3 quotes in a post, and I think this would be perfect. Not sure how you do that, but I've seen it on some forums.

When you quote a post with a quote in it, it automatically removes the quote from the post.

That is not the easiest way though. I remember for one that I had a long debate going with Seftrex over dark matter and black holes, and I never knew he posted until I actually looked at the post, like most normal people have no trouble doing. If the little add-on was there I would have known before hand, especially since I had to leave for a few days and leave the thread unattended.

If anything it would remind us of conversations that we are having in threads.
