personally i thought the old mobile version was terribly ugly and inconvenient to navigate
sure it may have loaded faster but really...if a phone can't handle a forum, it's probably not meant to be used for the web...and if i remember correctly, the mobile version only showed like 5 posts/topics per page which made it really annoying having to flip through pages

Or at least a mobile formatted version. I don't see the point in making a whole app.

I'd like that as well, it would be nice if there was little loading time too, but how much would be visible on LG Mobile? Would it have to be really simple to make for a good loading time?

Loading isnt the issue. It depends on your connection.
Back in the day, LG MOBILE is just text, it doesn't show any pictures [As far as I can remember]. It was just faster to browse LG, and post on a Mobile device.

I never really saw a point to it. It more or less feels like a "whoo I can visit LG on the go and you can't" type deal...kinda lame. Though, when i posted this, the "Posted via mobile" didn't appear...so maybe Google just added that manually? o.O Or the site just doesn't register my phone as a phone?

And really, this site loads pretty fast as is. It took all of a few seconds to load the main page on both 3G and edge (which is saying something if it's alright on edge). I don't mean to sound like a negative nancy or anything but yeah...the old mobile version was butt ugly.

However, maybe something should be done about the whole "logging you out when you change from one wifi connection to another wifi connection or 3g" ordeal.

I dunno, but I guess it'll be handy. And also a bit pointless. FOr now, I'll say yeah sure, let's have one, better to not use it than miss it, I guess..
