About as hard as learning your way around a woman
Ask a vague question, get a vague answer
Now go find a beginner's Java tutorial and find out for yourself, that's the only way to get an answer

I would say its just like learning a new language. You have to learn the vocabulary and syntax of the code, along with learning how things function and breaking down simple human motor functions in to an algorithm. If you follow a book or online tutorial you can learn it pretty quick on your own. Honestly, schools teach it too slowly for my taste.

I just say its as hard because you have to learn the syntax and grammar of the coding language as well as algorithms. Also, being able to know which libraries are needed for your software and the different functions each library holds. But I agree with the simple logic and dedication statement.
