I'm suddenly having an issue with my torrent client. All of the torrents I add are stuck on "Connecting to peers".
I have not changed any settings, reinstalled and tried different clients, removed and re-added torrents, etc. So far my searched for fixes and work around have been for naught. I was wondering if anyone with this before and knew what to do.

Never seen an issue like this before, maybe its your firewall blocking certain connections? I have Peerblock and that allows me to torrent freely without my ISP knowing what I download/stream.

It'd be helpful if you provided us with the name of the client.

If you try an updated uTorrent it works a little better. But for the torrentz that are stuck on connecting to host it means something is preventing it from going through normal download procedures. I say try searching for a separate version of what you want, and try using the magnet links if that doesn't work. If that doesn't work...idfk.

Yup, I think he's right.
Also:
- Make sure if you're behind a router you have port forwarding set up.
- Check to see if your firewall is blocking it.
- Contact your ISP, they could be blocking P2P traffic. (Certain major ISPs have been implementing their Copyright acts which monitor your traffic for copyrighted content. If some catch you they'll slow your connection down to a crawl or block certain things.)
- Check Speed Issue documentation.
I don't get tired.

Reinstalling Utorrent basically fixes this problem. I had the same issue.
