Can you summarize your computer class in college for me please? What do they make you do - programming / computer wise? What language, if any, they make you program in?
I'll be heading off to college as soon as I graduate and I would just like a basic idea of what I'll be doing for a while.

My porgram is 6 semesters. The first semester of my program touched on a little bit of everything (hardware, networking, and programming). The second semester, which is where I am now, we started PHP and C# as well as a basic database management course. In the third semester I'll start an advance C# course and begin using Java and ASP.NET. I don't know much about any of the other courses after that because I haven't looked into them too much but it's just more programming but for things like mobile devices and a basic game development course.

I go to DigiPen, and they teach you C in the first year, and C++ in all classes after your freshman ones. The homework assignments consist of the professor giving you a driver, or main.c/main.cpp file, and you need to write code in a couple other files (such as assignment.cpp/assignment.h) in order to make the professor's driver file work.
