I feel like you're talking about other monster raising series which I don't really think of as spin offs. It's more a genera, which existed prior to pokemon.

A Spin off is a game which has the pokemon brand but it's not like the traditional pokemon series where you catch and get badges etc

I actually enjoyed Pokemon Ranger and Pokemon: Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team a lot. I lost both games though, feels batman

Conquest looks really good. Stadium and Snap are some of my favorite things ever. The Darkness ones on Gamecube were ok.
Ranger and Dungeon never caught my attention. Pinball was meh.
