That's why his name is important. Missingnn't appear with out a name that cause it to. Of course you can always go talk to the old guy that teaches you how to catch pokemon to temporarily change your name to OLD MAN and catch Missingno that way.

Plus he might also have access to Mew or something ridiculous.
