Nope. Never finished Pokemon B/W 1 because I lost the ROM. Not sure how 2 differs much though besides more Pokemon. Unless I'm missing something. In which case care to explain?
I was pretty content with number 1. Was an awesome Pokemon game. Nice gameplay, graphics, and Pokemon.

It's a different game set in the same region with different protagonists and continues the story of the first game. Two years after the first if I remember correctly. At first I wasn't really into it, but as I kept playing I really started to enjoy it. There are a whole bunch of neat new things in it besides cities and some different gym leaders. There is also a fuck ton of after game content that BW1 didn't have. I haven't beat it yet but there's black tower (like a battle tower), Join Avenue which you recruit people to build shops (people you trade with or meet ect) and they sell stuff for EV deleting, making your pokemon more friendly, ect. Oh and one of my more favorite things is if you connect you're BW1 game to your BW2 you get flash backs and extra story stuff, and the game refers to the last game's protagonist as what ever you named them. There are a lot more pokemon and a national dex of 300. Which is the most of any game if I remember correctly. Your pokedex also has a habitat button, so you can actually see what pokemon live in the route you're on. I suggest finishing BW1 because it does make BW2 more enjoyable. However it doesn't really need to be beaten to completely understand the story. If you need the Rom I can send it to you.
