Im pretty much fucked and confused.
Iv been running around, trying to get attacked by a wild flying bird thing, so i can get it, and someone told me i can use it to fly to the daycare center?
Anyone know how i can accomplish this?

Basically, when you use Fly its location resets. So, if you fly to a location with many routes connecting to it, you're more likely to be in an area near it. If you've seen it before (which you have), a little icon on the map Poketch tool (the one where you can move the hearts and circles and shapes). This shows its location currently. So what I did? Kept flying to Hearthome city until it was near.

If you fly, Poke goes POOF! to else place. If you fly to town you are in, Poke may POOF! to town you in. :DOriginally Posted by ~Souleater~

Are you trying to catch the legendary birds? If so:
Well what I do, is hang around near the area surrounding the square in the map.
And I continually go from the Northern route (N) to Eastern route (E). Once you cross and go into another route, the location of the birds changes. So by crossing over in route N and route E, the location of the bird changes and if it goes into your route, you can go there and catch it.
If the bird goes into route W, you can cross the route without the bird resetting. But it is in the water. If the bird goes in route S, then forget about it and cross from routes N to E again.

That's what everyone does. But if I'm not mistaken, in Diamond/Pearl/etc., they go to a random location. In Gold, they would go to the town next to them, so it was easy to follow them. IDR who I was stalking in Diamond, but they would just magically appear in another town across the map every time I entered a new town/route. So that was annoying and took forever.
