Let's start with this.....
The 3DS release date is expected to be March 2011, in both Japan and the US.
There are 3DS specific games, pokemon black and white, are not in that category.

For those of you with NDS Lites, and the original DS, nrries, you'll still be able to play.

Anyone that says different about Pkmn black and white being 3DS exclusive, can shove it, I get my facts from reliable sources (marriland, serebii, gamespot etc.)

There's no need trry about pre-ordering the 3DS so you can play the game.

EDIT: The 3DS itself is strongly suggested to play Pkmn black and white, due to the fact that when used on the regular DS, the graphics become somewhat hindered.
