They don't belong as subsections or anything related to the Junkyard. JY is a standalone forum. The spam section was an extension. Introductions are not general in regards to the Junkyard section which staple is "post anything here" aka general discussion. Weighted Discussions is more serious, debating/extensive discussion, etc. They weren't apart of Junkyard before for a reason. I take it that this is your way of getting the Junkyard to be more active/for people to use those sections. But those things belong in their own category in the Logical Lounge. Not in any way apart of the Junkyard or what it stands for. Programming absolutely is completely irrelevant to the Logical Lounge. It looks extremely out of place there. Make a dedicated tech section on LG where dedicated forums go. LG will not be able to prosper as a general site with everything bunched into one. What you're doing is making the site even more Junkyard-centric, overall less content for members. I say we should (perhaps temporarily) just get rid of the more redundant sections and right now go back to the basics. Every section would get its fair share of attention that way.
They are subsections, not extensions. JY is just general discussion. Introductions are free to be about anything (general), with the stipulation that you are introducing yourself/welcome others. Weighted Discussion can be about anything (general), with the stipulation that it has to be a serious discussion. Threads are not as restricted in topic, such as with Gaming Discussion which has to be about games. The subforums are more to set the tone than the topic, which remains general. Also it is to help boost activity in them since most people suck JY's dick all day erry day anyway. Also also ideas are always welcome. There's a suggestions forum for a reason after all.
