got a little problem here not sure what to do about it am new to buying

I'm new to website buying. And I am SO confused I am dealing with two members on here that want me to buy their stuff but they sure are WEIRD about it


one guy wants me to email his friend the money but whenever I ask him why he acts like he never said it even whe I copy paste his exact message back to him. We just go around and around. Plus I don't think there is a way to send money over email. plus he keeps asking for my gaia account. I don't know what my gaia account has to do with anything.


another asked me for my Skype account. Yeah you heard me he wants to sell to me and for payment he wants me to hand over my Skype account.



is this normal procedure with website sales? I've only used ebay and NO ONE there has EVER asked me to email their friend ANYTHING nor have they asked me for any accounts nor have they asked me for my Skype account.


is this just how its done here?

Alright, I know you are talking about our conversation. One, I told you I use Paypal, you see the word "pal" and assume that I am talking about a friend being involved but there is NO OTHER PERSON INVOLVED. I explained that to you several times. I also explained what paypal was and how it works and directed you to the paypal site to SHOW you what it was. Second, in order to send payments through paypal you need the person's paypal address, which is the email they registered with. That is why I provided you my email because that is my paypal address. I asked for your username on gaia so I would know who to send my Astherie Halo to if you bought it. I cant send it to you if I dont know who to start a trade with. THAT is what your gaia account has to do with it because I would be sending it from my account to yours. I was not asking for your login/password or anything of the sort.

As for the person that asked for for skype, its an instant messenger program that most people use to talk to each other instead of waiting for someone to reply via private message. The person that asked you was asking for JUST your screen name so he could send you a message, they were probably NOT asking for your entire account.

If you use ebay then theres no way to NOT know about paypal since when you buy from ebay the payment is processed through paypal (even if you use a credit card)

Either english isn't your first language, which would make some sense as to why you are not understanding what people are saying to you (which I would have no problem with) OR I hate to say it, really, really stupid (that I would have a problem with...). Sorry but I would rather sell my stuff to someone that actually knows what paypal is and how the trade process works without me having to explain it a dozen times. I dont appreciate being accused of being weird or suspicious. The way you've been acting, now THAT is weird/suspicious...From what I can gather you dont know shit about ANYTHING to do with computers or how skype, or paypal, or any of it really works. If I need to give proof that I havent done anything wrong I will be happy to post screenshots of our conversation so everyone can see that I never told you to email a "friend" No matter how many times you copy/paste messages I NEVER ONCE told you to email another person or to pay a friend. when I came back I logged in to gaia to see if there was another trade only to find I was BANNED

within the hour I found out that right after the trade TalenSeth had run crying to the mods saying that I had hacked into his account and stolen the gold. I asked wht proof they had of my "hacking" they answered that TalenSeth had provided them with a skype chat log between us where I "admitted" to hacking. I quickly loaded skype and tried to log in

sure enough the account wouldn't take my password. I am disgusted big time.


before I could do ANYTHING my computer started throwing out error messages so I rebooted now it wont even go into windows it gets as far as the log on screen but wo't take my password. I checked the password clue and the clue was "this computer was hacked by TalenSeth "

I have witnesses to this. People who will come to court and testify. I only hope that whoever TalenSeth is his or her parents know a good lawyer and won't be too terribly upset when TalenSeth is sent to juvie where they belong.

NONE OF THAT IS TRUE, THEY'RE LYING THEIR ASS OFF. I havent dont SHIT to them. I havent hacked anyone and do you guys really think what they're saying I did to their computer is even possible? How about screenshots or pics to prove it? There's no way to do something like that to someones computer. ALSO, I dont have/use skype!
