I'd Like to note it's all legit, I earned it myself without having to hack accounts or anything. So its completely safe.

Once you buy gold, it is no longer legal. Gaia will ban anyone who buys gold. Simple as that.
Gold earned legitimately still has a less chance of being banned, because it can't be traced back to a reported hacked account. Hacked gold often gets reported, so after you buy it, not only is there the risk of Gaia banning you for buying it, but the risk of Gaia banning you by tracing where it originated back to the original hacked account.
