I'm hardly on gaia anymore and I've 5.2mil pure atm but am willing to throw in my Crimson Marionette for a good offer. Please email me if you're interested.
66,805,043 (100,000 gold per $2.50- my crimson marionette alone would be at 800,000IMVUcr. and the gaiagold at 200,000IMVUcr. Cut the value of IMVU credits by half if you buy off-site and it's still 400k credits for CM and 100k credits for the 5mil. Make me a REASONABLE offer however and I will consider it.)

It has an even lower exchange rate than that since the demand for gaia anything is so low. XD It's averaging now $1 = 1mil.

spending 5 dollars on gaia cash will get you 2 monthly collectables to sell for 250k each on average. I'm not sure what kind of exchange you have going here but you can't buy 1mil worth of gaiagold for anything under 9.99 on gaia at least through legal payment through gaiaonline.
I understand however that the demand for gaiagold is rather low from what I've seen. It's really been losing it's value and that's a shame, considering if I were to sell my account at full-price according to tektek, I'd end up with just over 1'600.00 USD.Last edited by Magentta; 06 May. 2013 at 04:01am.

I'd happily sell a 500m gaia account for 1000$. You REALLY oughta look at prices around here. I'm not just saying it either. I am physically capable of selling that much. We are trying to enlighten you that the market price of gaia is not as tektek indicates. No one will pay you "5$ for 250k" for 2 monthly collectibles. For 10$, they could get a 1million gaia gold bundle to begin with. The other thing is no one will pay YOU more than they will pay gaia for their gold. Supporting gaia carries no risk of getting banned or scammed.
You on the other hand, not so much.
I wish you the best of luck, but honestly. You should take a look at the market forums to understand what the value of what you're selling is, and not gravedig 3 year old posts.

I didn't honestly notice the date on the other forum I posted in until it was too late, go figure.
And I'd not have a problem selling my shit that cheap if it weren't for the fact that what little wealth I got was earned through art, not buying and trading in places like this. Otherwise I'd agree with you, but alas I think I'm posting all this on the wrong site. Thanks for the explanation.

You'll more than likely not find a better site than this.
The value of gold is based on how it's earned, the demand for it, and how easy it is to make it.
Currently, it is incredibly easy to obtain a million gold.
Currently, the demand for that gold by buyers is low.
Basing the amount currency sells for on items that Gaia overprices themselves is ignorant.
TekTek isn't a resource for obtaining a USD value for the black market, it is only giving you a rough estimate on how much in USD you would need to spend if you were to get gold through purchasing and reselling collectibles.
1 Million in gold sits at most at $2 per million, and that's being generous.
You can purchase IMVU credits at $5.50 per 10k *while* still following the TOS through resellers (Example used is DevCredit pricing)
What you are wanting for your items is far beyond unreasonable, to be honest.
