NEW INFO ADDED!!!!
Edited In 5/28/11: All users who feel the need to have "autobuys" on trades, should NOT post their Paypal addresses. I've had two Paypal accounts get closed due to I'm sure someone reported directly from this site. Only reason why. Again, I'll state it simply, DELETE YOUR PAYPAL ADDRESSES FROM ALL POSTS
Make sure to get SS's of all transactions, no matter how big or small.
Paypal has been disputing shit themselves, and will automatically give the funds back to the buyer without you having actual proof.
Keep chat logs of ALL sales. MSN keeps better chat logs than LG does(easier to access), so do all trades on MSN.
Keep in mind, a Chargeback user, is a scammer. Chargeback meaning they dispute a transaction on Paypal, to get their USD back. They ARE scammers, they just scam AFTER they send the USD.
Screenshots of EVERYTHING. Especially if it's more than $10.

Other than MSN having better logs than LG, it can also prove that the email in question sent the money. Furthermore, never accept payments "from a friend", since they will be able to claim they didn't request the goods.

There are two main reasons. The buyer either claims they never got what they bought, or that they never asked for it (ie. the account has been compromised)

Yeah I got scammed first from a chargeback from hello
I got scammed again from a chargeback by paypal themselves even after sending chats of LG and screen proof of their paypal and them admitting it.
It's just a complete loss if it's virtual goods.
In total I lost $1,325
we should adopt a new policy for these chargeback scammers.

I did a $30 trade and for some reason, the user tried to charge back for the money. I did not get scammed but they failed to return the money. I have all the Chat logs, Pics, Paypal emails, transactions, etc.
Need pics. Just tell me.

does anyone on here use an alternative payment system? the only good ones i can think of involve more physical transfers like checks or moneygram/western union. does anyone have a suggestion other than paypal?
-btw, i hope this isn't considered grave digging. last post was 05-28-2011

i wish we could get people on here interested in bitcoins. there's usually no fees to transfer so it would be great for use with middlemen. its also decentralized; there's no banks, identities, or charge-backs.

Are eChecks on PayPal a bad way of doing business? I am waiting until the check clears (4 days or so), but can the user yank back the funds at any time after that? I'm a little lost concerning that.
I am keeping track of all chat logs, just in case.

Is there a service as easy as paypal that works the same way as paypal? I really don't like paypal but still need an online service to transfer money... Preferably without a bank account or credit card hooked up
