Maple Memories; Returning to Maple?

I quite maple LOOONG ago (about 3 years ago?) in fact i remember way back when they were in around .30 with no monster HP bars, no skill point suggestions, etc.

Eventually came back again around .60 with what i mentioned above. (in time for pirate etc. but before cygnus knights). then left again due to tediousness.

Now i hear they have "aran" class, and "cygnus knights", and something else ... (btw what are explorers?). Now then ... what new classes have they come out with since pirate? what new features have they added? is there anything more than just nothing but grindfest in killing monsters?

Is maple worth coming back to? If so, then why?

Its warrior silly Knight is a "subclass" pretty much a type of 2nd job advancement of warrior.

Also im talking about the latest news rather than just past memories XD (well ... not the past memories alone anyways)

The classes now are as follows:

Explorers/Adventurers: Warrior, Bowman, Mage, Thief, Pirate

Knights Of Cygnus(6 ap per lvl up, strong early on and get nerfed 4th job skills in 3rd but max lvl of 120 instead of 200): Dawn Warrior(fighter type warrior), Wind Archer(bow using archer), Blaze Wizard(fire element mage), Night Walker(claw thief), Thunder Breaker(knuckle pirate).

Legends: Aran(ice elemental pole arm user with a combo system), Evan(Multi-elemental mage that uses a dragon to attack).

Apparently pretty soon there is a new adventurer coming out called Dual Blade. It is essentially a bandit but instead of a shield it uses a new item, a second blade.

The Aran and Evan class were rather overpowered and last patch there was a balancing patch for adventures. It boosted lots of the skills base attack, decreased cool downs, sped up attacks, added more mobs to some attacks, etc etc. Basically an overall boost of most adventurer classes.


In response to your sum up yes and no. Maple is a good game if you find it enjoyable and have people to talk to. Some servers have a screwed up economy and most hackers are all VIP underground stuff now that pay to use them so everyone else resorts to being a script kiddy and d/c hacks everywhere. Bera is bad for d/c hacking, scania for ksing and economy, khaini doesn't have very many godly items but its not super crowded either. It is worth coming back at least to try and see if you enjoy the changes

Id recommend making an aran as they lvl pretty fast and are an overpowered class. Good luck to you.

i dont think its worth it i was off for awhile like you, then decided to see how the maple life was going, then 10mins after while playing i remembered why i quit, 1.lag 2. wasting my time. 3. all the money i wasted on nexon cards (250 dollars) ( yes i was that addicted to it)
