Yush, you can now make hotmail email accounts that have a '.com.au' extension to them. Simply go onto Internet explorer and go to Sign In and create a new account.
This is good because now you can create spoof emails from our favorite companies. Emails such as softnyx@hotmail.com.au and lanzer.gaiaonline@hotmail.com.au are still freely available as well as many, many more.
I've already created my share in fake emails.
Enjoy guys

com.au means Australia. Only an idiot would fall for that.

I am not a idiot, I know what .com.au stands for. Most sites (Google is a good example) do not redirect if you put .co.uk or .com.au. And if you are suggesting that the .com.au extension is not new then it is not relevant. The Australian population is smaller by about 200 million. So that means that there is a smaller chance that my desired username will be taken. This thread just made me want a .com.au address.

No problem, although I'm currently using safari with my touch, it only gives me the options of @live.com and @hotmail.com
I'll pm you once I get on the computer and I'll see if Thomas@hotmail.com.au is still available.
