I have proven that Poison's Every Love Has It's Thorn song is metal.
On youtube, I ONLY listened to metal, and watched metal videos.
today, this song was recommended for me.

Poison is 80s hair metal thus it is metal. How was there any doubt?
Slash actually auditioned to play in Poison when it was forming, he showed up in jeans, a tee shirt, and moccasins. He blew their minds and out played Mat Smith but Smith was rocking the glam rock look the rest of the members were and Slash made it clear he would not so they didn't let him in.

After thoughts:
How come people today think a ballad isn't metal? In the 80s every hard rock/metal band had to write a ballad for some reason, it was the cool thing to do. Logically a ballad by a metal band is a metal ballad. Listen to "More Than Words" by Extreme, awesome song. Its ten minutes long and acoustic right up till minute 8ish when they attempt to blow you soul up with guitar solo.

I've known it was metal, but now my friends will stop being retarded and acknowledge it.
