So what's everyone been up to in the year long hiatus of LG?
Work wise I recently quit my job of five years to be a freelance web developer. It was getting far too stressful for me. I've been learning React.js and front-end Magento 2. In fact I spent the last few weeks setting up a portfolio using react which was pretty cool.
Personally I started playing the guitar, playing an unhealthy amount of Overwatch and watching an unhealthy amount of anime. I also recently modded my PS1 so I can play import games. I'm currently making my way through Chrono Trigger on it and the load screens are no where near as bad as I thought they'd be.
I'm planning on going on a trip to Tokyo later this year to check out the retro gaming scene there. Will probably also check out tonnes of other stuff while I'm there too.
Think that's about it for me, or at least that's all that comes to mind right now.

Yeah, PS1 games can be really expensive. A decent copy of Castlevania SOTN in Europe can set you back about £300. I got a good deal on mine because it didn't have a manual but it was still extortionate. I don't think it's anywhere near that expensive for an American copy.
And I'd love to move abroad myself but the logistics seem like such a hassle.

I've got to agree with you there. I'm not really sure why they decided on using different cases. I understand different artwork but not the cases 🤔

If you want to preserve them get a game you don't care about and do the disc swap . I use to pirate my games when I was younger like that
