About the current members of LG

So I've been back on the site pretty actively for about a year now and it's come to my attention recently that I don't know that much about the people I've spent the last year talking to.

If this was a massive forum with loads of active members it wouldn't matter so much but seeming only a hand full of us are active and we use the forum as an over engineered chat room I thought it would make sense to learn a bit more about each other, so hear it goes:

When I originally joined my user name was TESM and then I changed it to Cyanoxide. You can call me that, Cyan or if you prefer my real name is Jamie. Career wise I'm a Graphic designer and Web designer/developer. Both of which I decided to pursue thanks to my activity on this site in the past. When I initially joined I was interested in learning to code so that I could make bots and things for Gaia. I'll admit that that didn't happen but it did put my foot in the coding door for me to learn web design and development. I had a short hiatus from LG for a few months and when I rejoining I shifted my focus away from Gaia and coding and focus my efforts into the artwork sub forum where I picked up a lot of the skills needed to get into graphic design. I never thought about it until recently but LG has played a massive part it getting me to where I am today. That's one of the big reasons the inactivity on the site bothers me so much.

I've been quite vocal about my hobbies and interests over the past year so I won't go into too much detail but I'm a big fan of video games, particularly those from the PS1 era and I have an unhealthy interest in the Final Fantasy franchise. It's worth mentioning that people assume I play a lot of games in my free time but I don't play as much as people might think. I also spend quite a bit of time doing digital painting work as a hobby. I'm still a bit of a novice but I'm getting there.

I'm happy to answer questions about myself if you have any but my main goal in posting this is that I'm hoping some of you will share some details about yourself if you've got the time.

this is such a sweet little post. :~) i'm glad this weird little corner of the internet has helped mold you in a positive way like that. i'd say probs gaia is that for me, LOL.
