when jack is about to beat aku he is sent back in time to do everything all over again in a continuous loop.
if they did a new series he has to do the same thing and avoid getting sucked back into time during the final battle.

"Right" some things end long before they should, other long after. Occasionally they end just where they need to. Like I said obvious heavy asian cultural influence on the show, I think they ended just how they wanted to.

well its a good thing its a open ended ending. now someone with some flash skills should make a movie and do a actual ending.
