I know im being hypocritical because as you all know I lost the election for being the mod of the drug forum. Buuuuuuuut anyways, I dont think peoples name color should change for being the mod of a forum, you should just have a title that says like (Mod of the art forum), I only think this because I feel like it tricks newer members who is really in charge here, because a general mod has all sorts of power but a "video games forum mod" only has so much power. Plus a whole bunch of topics will be up for people trying to become the mod of something because you get the illusion of power and a cool name color.

You can only issue infractions as a mod. If your infractions total a predefined amount, the user automatically gets banned for a predefined amount of time.
The mods can't just ban a user on a whim. It requires a post to be targeted for a particular infraction (predefined, site-wide rule), which supports a report for all mods and admins to be able to read and agree/disagree with.
Not just mod = ban power.
