i have this hope then when we die we fall into an endless dream.
OMG IKR
I like want to sleep forever :(
The bed is just so warm and comfy and sleeping is amazing :(
I want to be able to freeze time just so I could sleep...................................
I don't dream
(Before someone say "oh erryone dreams you jus dun 'member it)
I very rarely have a long REM cycle. I can sleep for 12+ hours and when I wake up I feel like I slept maybe an hour or two.
i always feel like ive only slept an hour.
omg i chugged whiskey in my dream last night for a bet; this dream i had was lovely. there was a wole bunch of older looking teenagers partying in an attic; and there was a girl (that i knew assumingly) that handed me a cig and we danced together... have never actually seen the girl in my life though..
When I was younger I always had this dream of a girl and I playing in a field of what looked like wheat. I never knew who the girl was then one day I was doing a family tree and stumbled upon a picture of one of my cousins I had never know that looked exactly like the girl in my dreams same hair length and everything. I asked my parents about her and apparently she died when I was like 6 (she would've been 8-9 at that time) it always makes me wonder how I had such a vivid image of someone I didn't know...
No matter how late/early I go to bed, I'll always wake up at 6:30, 7:00 every morning. My body is stuck on the HighSchool schedule from years ago.
I have very very metaphorical dreams, though.
If I sleep on my right side, I have nightmares
If I sleep on my left side, I have awesome dreams (but it takes me the longest to fall asleep on that side)
If I sleep on my back, I don't dream
Maybe I should sleep on my side. I notice that normally I fall asleep either on my stomach or on my back. Perhaps sleeping on my side will get me into a longer REM cycle and have a dream....
I sleep for exactly 8 hours regardless of when I go to bed. I sleep on my stomach.
99% of my life I have not had dreams. When I do dream they are lucid and always set in alternative versions of my life.
I always feel as though the time between when I went to bed and wake up has passed in an instant.
I was covers insurance. Good thing too because it didn't help all they wanted to do was pump me with sedatives to try and "fix me"
Best way to see how well you go into REM sleep without a lab is to get blackout curtains stay up as long as you can (24 hours is how long I went) and then record a video while you sleep. "Twitching" is apparently a sign that your not getting full REM cycles because your brain wakes itself up for some reason (also why sometimes you wake up for no reason and fall back asleep without remembering it)
My UP band actually registers deep sleep.
I read that the body goes into almost full paralysis during deep sleep and the sensors pick it up, it might not be 100% accurate but it shows my sleeping cycle.
So there are probably other devices out there too.
I would only like it if I can control my dream.
I managed to fuck up my dreams somehow.
I can sit there and lucid dream while just sitting in bed, not even asleep, just eyes closed laying there. And for some reason, ever since I found I could do that, I haven't dreamed like at all. When I do manage to they're really sweet lucid dreams, but yeah. And I apparently talk a fuckload in my sleep, which is embarrassing as fuck imo. I kind of want to videotape myself sleeping and see what I look like.
