My ex's chihuahua got pregnant once. She was too small to carry it to term. The depression that poor thing went through. Holy shit if I've ever seen an animal express emotion, it was then.

My parents pug got preggo not to long ago and had 3 puppies on the last one it got stuck coming out and was hanging out still in the sack we had to drive an hour to the emergency vet and they were going to do surgery on her put her on the table and went to the back to get supply as soon as the vet shut the door it flopped out of her. We assumed it was dead and the vet came back and got the puppy took it to the back room and brought it back to us alive and kicking! Needless to say we kept that puppy.
