So, finally got my desktop over here by my couch (I'm stranded on the couch, broken leg. It's been three weeks and everything was fine, then something shifted so I'm going into surgery tomorrow. Shit sucks.) so to all of the people who I told "Oh sorry can't do that, on super slow laptop not nice fast desktop" well I can now, because I'm back on my desktop.
Anyway, what are you guys up to?

Was at a trampoline park (Huge gridwork of trampolines and stuff, freaking awesome, huge foam pits and stuff, really fun.) with a friend. I'm bouncing high as hell because I'm bored (probably 8 or 9 feet in the air) and friend says "Hey, let's go over here!" I go k, and are trying to do one bounce per trampoline as I go. (These trampolines are four or five feet across, so you have to get huge amounts of air to do this. I was hitting em really hard) Suddenly, out of nowhere, this little 10 year old comes racing across the trampolines with his friend, not even seeing me. I'm in the air, about to land on a trampoline, and he lands on it first. (Note, there's a rule to only one person on a trampoline at a time.) I can't control my falling, cuz I was like nine feet in the air falling pretty fast now. So, he had just bounced onto it, and the trampoline was completely depressed, and now coming back up (no give at all, like landing from nine feet up with a completely straight leg onto concrete that's coming up at you with a significant amount of force.) I land on it, instantly snaps my leg. The kid goes "Oh crap!" and runs away with his friend, leaving me there. No one even noticed my yelling because of all the little kids for like a minute, and when the referee lady finally notices she FINALLY clears everyone else off, and they actually help me and shit. It hurt like a fucking bitch, and sucked ass. This was on the 29th, and then I had my leg in a cast that went up to my hip for three weeks. Then, I went back in for an xray, and they said they had to operate. So, for the past three days I've been in the hospital, and now I have stiches all the way down the front of my left leg (They cut the entire front open) and right below my knee (where they stuck in the rod.)
Needless to say, it hurts like a mofo.
Thanks a ton man, means a lot.
My "gaming" computer. Found it on the side of the road, someone was throwing it out. All it was missing was a power cord and a hard drive, both of which I happened to have. (Oh, and hard drive bays too) So now I have a laptop hard drive and a normal hard drive sitting on top of each other in the CD drive bay, and I have a Radon HD 4870 graphics card shoved into the case, and it barely fits (This is a Micro-ATX case.)
The computer itself is completely stock except for the graphics card and hard drives (Base specs is an Intel Pentium Dual Core, 3GB of RAM) I'm saving up money for a new motherboard and processor, my friend is gonna sell me his old ATX mobo and processor for like a hundred fifty bucks, and it's not too old either. It would stop the dumb pentium dual core from bottlenecking my graphics card, haha. To get the mobo and processor though, I also need money for an ATX case and DDR3 RAM (The stuff in this desktop is DDR2)
So, it's on its way to becoming a true gaming computer, right now all it's cost me is $20. (I got the graphics card for twenty bucks off of my friend, amazing freaking deal if you ask me)
Read the above explanation, haha. And yeah, it's nice to actually have a tiny bit of power again, compared to an Intel Celeron and 1GB of RAM, along with some unknown memory leak somewhere that causes a 4GB paging file on it. Sucks, if the computer is on for more than two hours the paging file for some reason grows to 4GB, and most programs crash because they're out of RAM/virtual ram (Paging file)
