Do it
www.torproject.org
Download Tor, and then start it and google a list of deep websites. Or, just google the link to the hidden wiki. They'll all end in .onion instead of .com or something.
Enjoy, and be warned, it's disturbing!

It's not all bad. I sell a few different items on Silkroad, and offer a service for bitcoin/moneypak exchanging. I visit very often though.

I want to use Silkroad for legitimate sales, but I think Bitcoins are stupid. So there is nothing in the deep web for me, outside of the appeal of anonymous website publication and a limited website pool increasing the odds that anything you publish will get seen/used.
Which gets old, since, as it's anonymous, it's near impossible to monetize. Unless I use Bitcoins. And Bitcoins are just as stupid now as they were at the beginning of my post.

The Deep Web or whatever you call it isn't that secretive anymore. It was for a while, and then people started doing news stories about it, and now every 10 year old who wants to feel like he's breaking the law signs on and surfs around for a bit. Basically just a hive of pedophiles and "anonymous members".
The Silkroad is full of feds and has been for a while now. Any electronics you get on the markets are either illegal or just cheap/poor quality.
The drugs aren't something you want to mess with, not only because of the feds, but because of the uncertainty of buying what you think is cocaine from a guy in Pakistan named Rasheed. There simply isn't a point to being on it anymore.
Also, If you can't get your hands on drugs or a hired killer off the Deep Web you probably shouldn't be trying to find one.
