In my spam bot for towns2, I got it connected and stuffs completely today. Started spamming. Decided to play around and well, I don't have to be in the room to spam that room lolol. Which means 1 account can spam all the rooms. I'll play around some more, it's quite ugly code but much prettier than the towns client I made before o-o

And I got another 24 hour ban ffff, I spammed it too quickly lmao. I put a delay of 0.001 seconds to test how often towns would drop the messages/what kind of limiting of spam they have in place. Sent 9 messages twice then the third start up I had 24 hour ban

I sort of find it a bit funny how you're just now figuring out about this stuff.
In Towns you can even spam an entire server from one room. So it shouldn't be a surprise that you can spam specific rooms without actually being there. One downside is it only appears in chatlog, though.
And yeah, you're going to need about a second or two of delay to not d/c due to spamming.

Not on at the moment, about to leave, also there are different servers in Towns 2 as well as 'rooms' just as the original towns. Except now you are placed under the control of the client and you no longer choose.
If you'll be on in like 2 1/2 hours I can show you. The popup still comes up on the map.

Hm, alright.
If I understand what you mean correctly, then now that you posted this that's probably going to be a fixed issue soon lol.

Nah man. Why would I do that lol. I'm not here to be some form of informant. I'm here for osmosis and assimilation, basically.
It's only logical to assume this CONSIDERING this is a public thread and you've disclosed full detail about the existing flaw. I know at least a couple of devs who snoop around here occasionally to see what they can find.
Every issue gets fixed sooner or later anyway.
