My first registration on LG was in late 07. I've seen lg low and high. It's definitely dying off but still hanging on a string.

Imo, I'd probably be banned by now with Game behind the gears.

That's a pretty dumb reason to ban a user.
But on another note, I don't know why I even give you empathy. It looks like you never learn. Your persistence never ceases to amuse me. If only you weren't such a failure when it comes to intelligence and insults. It would compensate for the tryhard in you.

That is the only objectively valid reason for banning a user.
But on another note, I don't know why I even give you empathy. It looks like you never learn. Your persistence never ceases to amuse me. If only you weren't such a failure when it comes to intelligence and insults. It would compensate for the tryhard in you.
Diehard determination.

Now it's open, and there's not even anything in there anymore.

Gaming in general has changed. Society in itself has shifted a lot. Gaming isn't what it used to be, and by the current statistics gaming in general on consoles and PCs has fallen significantly. It's not just LG or Gaia or any of this stuff, it's the new generation of entertainment.
Classical gaming is rapidly going out of style and the new era of kids will determine what becomes popular. A fuck ton of it has moved towards mobile gaming such as Android and iOS if you wanna consider that to be "gaming". The new generation does, and that's where they put their efforts. So to claim LG is at fault for not trying to keep up with current generation is one way to phrase it, but honestly what is current generation gaming even ABOUT? What is the most popular game on the internet? For the past 5 years gaming has stagnated. There have been no big releases in the console, or PC field except what.. Skyrim? I think that's the biggest game that I've heard of this past year.
WoW, Runescape, etc all still dominate the MMO field and nothing has appeared to spark interest in almost 5 years. The internet has reached a peak in the form its in now, as has gaming in general. So for LG to remain relevant would mean you'd have to have the insight into the current generation to know what they wanted. But frankly speaking odds are the new generation won't be interesting to us. Most of the people on here are adults now with jobs and shit to take care of. It's just natural this transition that our generation is being pushed out, LG and Gaia with it, and the new generation is settling in, a whole different world of people. What can you do about that except fake it and try to pretend to enjoy what they enjoy just to make some profit.
Again this is just my opinion. But fighting the changing times has never done anyone any favors.
Edit: League of Legends as well*. Biggest MMO release I've seen for the current generation. But no where near as big as other games. Minecraft was a huge explosion as well but the way minecraft is designed was also not the same as classical generation games.Last edited by DreamCat; 22 Oct. 2012 at 01:24am.
