1.) Buy a large batch of game cards (For example, those prepaid phone cards)
2.) Scratch them all off and write down the numbers
3.) Sell them all online so you're not losing any money, lol
4.) Somehow use the numbers to crack the algorithm
5.) Generate your own cards
Would this be possible at all? Wasn't there some thing where you could buy a few thousand lottery tickets and be able to crack the algorithm to get the winning lottery ticket or something? Maybe I just saw it on some fake TV show, but is that feasible at all?
Just wondering, thanks.
Also, if you have any reading material on stuff like this, or can suggest levels of math that would be required for this, that would be great. Any idea if there are any cases of someone doing this successfully?
I know it's possible because people make keygens and stuff, so couldn't you make a "cardgen" of sorts?

Just re-read your first post...
I don't think you understand how lottery works.

Any lottery worth playing abandoned an algorithm based generation a few years ago when a guy developed a system that told him which squares were least likely to be used on scratch offs, and won a few million dollars.
Disco is neat.

You guys don't understand. I'm not TALKING about doing it with a lottery, that was an example. By game card, I mean cards like Gaia Cash cards, Runescape cards, iTunes gift cards, etc.
Essentially, Fastcard cards.

I won the lottery 6 times.

You would be assuming there is an algorithm. Further, that you even have the talent to break the algorithm (seeing as how if you did, you would have such a well-paying job that this is stupid).
So, no, it's not feasable.

Going to recap this.
You're assuming there is an algorithm. If there was an algorithm and if you had the talent to break it then you would probably have a well paying job in that respect and above all consider this act and idea stupid.
And I think you mean *feasible, OP.
