GAMEchief is the only one of you guys who can actually hold a semi-intellectual conversation with me about meaningful things for more than 10 seconds.
I'd much rather have to talk to him all the time than any of you guys.
Mildly related: Fuck yeah, derivatives

You are really stupid lol. No one cares about your opinion at all (at least I don't). You know shit about programming and shit in general. I consider you insignificant and inferior.
I can't believe you made this thread.Last edited by The Unintelligible; 25 Sep. 2012 at 08:27pm.

I really like how you think you're important enough for anyone to actually care though. Talk about unwarranted ego with emphasis on unwarranted.
- 25 Sep. 2012 08:28pm #4yup this is really me gamersoul AVA

Because he is entirely deserving of hate right now. He made a rather self-important thread about how no one can have a meaningful conversation with him (again him, who I generally don't care about let alone care to converse with).
What frustrates me the most is the fact that he thinks he's important enough for me to actually regard his opinion. How unsightly.
It's like a worse GAMEchief. Fucking retarded but thinks otherwise. Amusing.
- 25 Sep. 2012 08:42pm #6
You're a funny guy.
I'm sure you can easily rate my intelligence based on internet conversations.
Says the guy who acts important all the time.
I have no unwarranted ego, I just felt like making a statement. You are free to ignore it.
It's not like I'm shoving my opinion down your throat like an angry 12 year old.

Sup guise. Name is Charles. Charles Stover. I'm wrong in almost every argument I'm in including ones on reddit and when I feel bested instead of conceding or admitting so I resort to spurts of ad hominem to attempt to distract people from the fact that I'm fucking retarded.
Not to mention I look like I have AIDs on my face and I use PHP and don't understand OOP.

Clearly I'm the one who acts important all the time when truthfully I only consider a few people here sensible users. Did I feel entitled to make a thread singling these users out like you? No, I didn't.
Simmer your unwarranted ego down. No one gives a fuck about who you like or consider "intelligent."
- 25 Sep. 2012 08:54pm #10
I have yet to be anything but calm.
Also, saying you don't find yourself important is a little odd, since you are constantly voicing your opinion on GC all the time, to the point where it's nearly all you post about.
Why are you so upset about intelligence all the time?
Being upset about stuff like that, and insinuating you're better at it than others, usually indicates some level of abuse on that regard at some point in your life. (excuse my sentence structure)
Not trying to attack you on it or anything, just mildly interested.

You're so dumb you misinterpreted "simmer your unwarranted ego down" which basically means stop flaunting self-importance around when it isn't warranted or deserved in anyway.
And I voice my opinions on GAMEchief all the time for the reasons stated above. That isn't the same thing as what you did. Your thread implies you're important enough to where users would heed your global opinion as to who can hold a "meaningful semi-intellectual conversation with you." I never did such a thing.
Am I upset about intelligence all the time? Is this about intelligence or you thinking you're intelligent and insulting others' intelligence by making this thread? I'll answer that for you, it's the former.
And even if you tried to attack me I wouldn't care. Because again I have little regard for your opinions. You aren't mildly interested, you're interested in playing psychologist. Which someone of your stature isn't even good at might I add.

I thought you might have meant that you offended my ego somehow.
I never insulted anyone's intelligence, nor claimed I was intelligent. I insulted people's conversational skills, which is much different.
How do you know what I am and am not interested in? I like knowing what makes people tick.
Also, you continue to insult my intelligence despite having no proof that I'm not intelligent. I remember some quote somewhere stating something along the lines of the only people who insult others' intelligence is because they feel inferior and want to bring them down to their level, but I'm too lazy to find it.
Disco is neat.

Bottom line is you made an insulting thread. You indirectly insulted me. You potentially insulted others. This isn't the first occasion either. You defend GAMEchief for no discernible reason.
I happened to be offended that you suggest I can't hold a meaningful or semi-intellectual conversation when you and I hardly discuss anything. In TC the other day you said "but unintelligible is bad" implying you think of me as a bad member for no apparent reason.
I apologize for insulting your intelligence but I felt as though your thread had a sense of superiority shrouding it. It's not that I hate GAMEchief, it's just that I hate the fact that he's an idiot mainly because he usually resorts to attacking people when he feels wrong.
- 25 Sep. 2012 09:22pm #17
I defend GC because he's a genuinely good person. He helped me figure out some stuff about the anti-depression meds I'm getting, and gave me some new ways to relieve stress, and then took time out of his day to teach me some Calculus.
If you stop and actually talk to him, he's a really nice guy.
I hardly discuss anything with you, because you happen to spend an inordinate amount of time blindly insulting GC for no reason I can discern, other than the fact that he responds (usually sarcastically) aggressively to people who he believes are incorrect. You also respond incredibly aggressively when you think people are in the wrong, so I honestly have no idea why you see yourself as any better than him.

In that case I apologize for insulting you. Like I said, I merely felt more or less offended by this thread.
GC can be cool at times, but other times not so much. I guess I'm taking this issue out of proportion. And a lot of the time unless I have something personal against someone, I won't respond hostilely. I'm hostile mainly when someone says something to offend me (which sometimes isn't always perceptible or clear).
- 25 Sep. 2012 09:30pm #19
Have you ever considered that GC is perceiving people as being insulting?
You really need to consider people's own thoughts and opinions before you decide whether or not they're bad people.
(also, the me calling you bad thing, don't worry. I say it about Thomas all the time)
Disco is neat.

Shh. You'll ruin my street cred.
You should pay more attention to how you feel and what triggers those feelings before acting on them. One of the most common sources of uneasiness or upset is a conflict between how you perceive yourself compared to external measurements of yourself. In total laymen's, your self-esteem is harmed by a truth or a belief is disproven. Two of the most common sources of being upset, because being upset uses less mental energy than either changing what is displeasing about oneself or changing a belief. But ultimately/ideally, you should want to either change yourself or your belief.
in this case you're dum deal with it

ln(x)' = 1/x
sin(x)' = cos(x)
cos(x)' = -sin(x)
bee tee dubs, 2 = 2 * 1 = 2 * x^0. Thus 2' = (2 * x^0)' = 0 * 2 * x^-1 = 0/x = 0
Or, for all constants,
k = k * 1 = k * x^0, k' = 0 * k * x^-1 = 0/x = 0
Then you get to learn integrals, which is just the opposite of a derivative. You go from acceleration to speed, from speed to distance traveled, etc.

Resorting to name calling and general ad hominem when you're wrong is immature at best and completely dumb at worst.
Perhaps he felt insulted, but for the most part it wasn't rightfully so.
I generally pay attention to how I feel. Keep your pseudo-psychological-philosophical lecture to yourself, chief. How I feel about this thread is justified and was already explained.
My opinion of you still stands. You're still an idiot, and you're still simply a joke.
Do you even try anymore? I've said this multiple times. No, I'm not seething. My anger was clearly expressed.
What frustrates me the most is the fact that he thinks he's important enough for me to actually regard his opinion. How unsightly.I happened to be offended that you suggest I can't hold a meaningful or semi-intellectual conversation when you and I hardly discuss anything. In that case I apologize for insulting you.
