AMD v.s. Intel

I just prefer Intel due to familiarity/accustom. Not certain on benchmarks as far as efficiency goes.

Depends completely on what piece of hardware you're talking about and what you're looking for in that hardware
When it comes to processors Intel definitely has the majority of sales and the superior speed/power efficiency when it comes to central processing units.
However, AMD seems to be more concentrated on graphics ever since it got ATI and started really getting into GPUs.
So there's a chance I'd choose certain AMD parts when building a gaming computer.
The conversation could go on and on, but I don't really think AMD is going to surpass Intel any time soon.
This video sort of describes what I'm trying to explain to you about the pointlessness of any kind of AMD versus Intel argument.
Now, if you came to me and said "I'm looking for a certain number of cores or a certain clock speed" it would be a whole different conversation.
As it stands though, I prefer Intel partially for the same reason Unintelligible does and partially because I'm normally looking for speed and power efficiency as opposed to superior graphics.

I use intel on mostly if not all my computers, but i have been checking on some AMD parts recently and aren't so bad.
