You wouldn't even call that dieting - that's a fucking eating disorder.
To be honest, I don't care with what you do to yourself, but that's pathetic. Staying fit is easy. Don't count calories, just eat healthy (I can't remember the last time I've even fast food, and rarely ever eat junkfood), and perform regular exercise.

Ed, yeah. Id agree with that statement. I am pathetic. Oh well.

Sorry have to put my bit in on this one, mostly because I have a lot of knowledge on this.
If you want to lose a lot of weight, you can do a full liquid diet for about 11 days. I have done this myself and had good results. It will take most of the toxins in your body out, almost like a detox period if you drink a lot of green tea. It will force your body to register the calories as food, even though it wont technically count, it just fucks with your brain. The second trick to not getting as hungry in the day is to drink a lot of cold water, it forces your stomach to contract so you dont want as much food and the tea fills you up faster.
After 11 days eat small portions, which wont be difficult at all once you only have liquid in your stomach for 11 days. Small portions of chicken breast and rice with asparagus spears is the best thing here. Eat it in the middle of the day for your only meal, it has a low calorie count and high vitamin count. I have to stress the importance of the only 11 day set up. If you go longer, your body will burn calories too slow and you can start to have stomach problems, because your body will get used to not having anything in your stomach so the food after 11 days will shock your metabolism intrking in a new way.
Once you start eating again, limit your body to fruits to replace the crap you used to eat in the way candies and stuff. The sweetness will replace the sweetness of chocolate and stuff and add nuts to your snack instead of candy, raw almonds are very healthy, and they have a property that takes away your hunger when you eat about 10 of them. Low calories, less hunger between meals.
This method will help you lose weight, almost nrking out needed but if you want to really cut pounds off, you need to do cardio as the faster your heart beats the faster you burn calories, therefore the faster you lose fat and weight.

No clue who OP is, but if it's not bullshit, it's anorexia by definition. Which I think is actually anywhere under 1500. Easily anything under 1000. It's called an eating disorder for a reason: under no circumstances is it acceptable. It is hazardous to your health 100% of the time.
Posting about it on a forum is a classic sign of a cry for help if I ever saw one.
So, maybe see a psych, or post about what's really upsetting you.

Well I said for him to post what was really upsetting him.
But overall, being a major and being licensed are two largely different things.
My focus is also not on clinical. Realistically, I can only help as much as someone who has a Bachelor's in the field.
I think I'm two years short of being licensed in it, but not going that route anyway.

Yes, I am
You checked correctly.
Nothing is upsetting me. Well Correction: everything is upsetting me. Physically, mentally, yknow the drill. Nothing is ever good in my life. But if i can control a physical aspect of my life. At least Im controlling something.

See a psychologist. You can trust them. They're legally bound to being trustworthy. Plus, wouldn't be there if they didn't care; it's not like the money's good. Best thing you'll ever do.
And stop being anorexic. Someone cares about you, whether you know it or not. Deal with it. Stop hurting them by hurting yourself.
Also, see a psychologist. This isn't something you can find help with on a message board full of strangers.

I feel like for someone majoring in psychology you've got to get to the reason why she is feeling this way.
She has self esteem, body, and control issues.
It's probably pretty obvious something in her home life is either going on or happening/happened. Especially if you read any of her other posts.
She's got some serious cries for attention her bro. (I mean no disrespect.)
Telling someone to "Stop being anorexic" isn't going trk.
Anorexia isn't one of those disorders that you magically go "Oh I'm not going to do this anymore!" (Just like basically any other disorder.)
Then it goes away. She might need to fix what ever is "broken" first before she can tackled anything else.
Also in my personal opinion this has less to do with an eating disorder and has more to do with a psychological disposition to being self destructive or histrionic.
Either way I agree with her getting help.
@ccgamer: Go get help so I don't have worry about you giiiiiirlllfriiiiiiend! D:Last edited by CL0V3R; 28 Aug. 2012 at 08:44pm.

Teach me more about psychology plz.
An Internet forum is not the place to delve into what is causing her eating disorder. A psychologist's office is.

Then why the fuck post it?
Seriously, "Stop having eating disorder plox". I took you as being serious not sarcastic.
Also sorry about "teach you more about psychology plz" but for fuck sake saying "Go seek professional help" on an internet is even more pointless.
Yes we all agree she should seek it, but she needs to see WHY she has to seek it. Other wise why the fuck is she going to?
Edit: Yes I used fuck way too much in this. Point still stands.
All hail kitty pig.

I dont really know what to say. probably because i dont really see how trying to perfect myself classifies me as needing to seek professonal help.
im currently on the 11 day fast, but when i was on that 300 cal thing, its not like i was starving myself. I was just finding the healthiest foods in the world, eating smaller portions, and keeping it under 300 calories, while trying to use exercise to burn it off. i know the intake is low. but i wasnt starving or binging or purginf or any of that shit.

I don't really think it just has to do with this topic. This isn't an attack in any way we're just totally worried cause we care yo. C:
I remember you having a shit ton of problems last time we talked so I figured you may need some help with somethings.
Plus you actually put with in your text somewhere there that it was something you could finally control.
We're just worry is all and think 300 calories a day isn't really the best method/healthiest way of losing weight.
All hail kitty pig.

To get the point across that people care and have stern preferences as to her health.

A diet normally consists of 1500 calories. Calories are not arbitrary numbers. There is a specific amount you need for your body to be healthy. If you don't get that amount, you are doing damage. You may not feel it, but there is damage being done.
1500
Five times what you were eating.
Five times what you were eating is generally the minimum amount of calories a person should intake. Five times. Don't even pretend this is an issue where you have leeway. Especially burning it off afterward. You know your body needs calories for everything, right? Sleeping, reading, sitting, walking, thinking. If you exercise off 300 calories, you're out for the rest of everything you ever do.
No, you weren't binging/purging, because that would be bulimia. What you were doing was textbook anorexia, which again is an eating disorder for a reason, not because it is a perfectly healthy thing to do.
