The computer I was using until about a year ago:
Intel Celeron D Processor
512 MB of memory
100GB HDD
No DVD drive
3 USB ports
Windows XP
My internet speeds are under 1Mbps, and downloading something thats 10MB can take 10 to 15 minutes sometimes.
My current computer is still a pile of shit, but not as bad:
Intel Pentium Dual-Core
500GB HDD
3GB RAM
ATI Radon HD 4thousandsomethingiforget
I trashpicked the computer, shoved two of my old HDDs into it, and bought the graphics card off of my friend for $50 because otherwise he wouldn't have done anything with it because it was his old one. I got a power cable from a garage sale, a monitor out of someone's trash, and grabbed an old mouse that was laying around. Now I have a computer that can run GTA IV, Garry's Mod, Counter Strike, and most other games fairly well (On low or medium) In total, it cost me about $51, $50 for graphics card and $1 for power cable. Everything else I already had or was free out of the trash!
If you want, I could ship you some old computer shit I have o-o I can go take pictures of the extra stuff I have, and if you want any of it I could ship you it.

Had I not already sold my laptop I would have donated it to you for like 50 dollars or something.
Sorry bro. You'll get one eventually. I suggest building a desktop. So much cheaper.
All hail kitty pig.

@Unintelligible: So, I have an old CD drive, an old Windows XP or Windows 98 computer (I doubt it has an HDD, but it may have like a 10GB one you could use) it has like 512MB or 1GB of RAM I could pull out and ship to you, if you have like four RAM slots (I highly doubt these are DDR3 though) and uhmmm I can pretty much pull out any parts you want. That's all I could find computer parts-wise though. I'm going to be selling some computer books on LG soon if you're looking for those though.

Don't mean to come off as ungrateful, but I don't think the shipping is really worth it on either ends if the quality isn't at least on par. Really though, thanks for offering. I appreciate that.
I'll pass on computers books; I've got plenty.

I have about $500 of Amazon GCs in my possession, if you are looking for something relatively cheap.

I'd probably take up on that offer if I still had anything left in my Paypal. But yeah, I'm spent.
Would you take Gaia items instead? I have 2 legitimate '03 accounts. One has pretty much nothing. The other has NHB, D. Pendant, and a Kiki. Has some other side stuff as well.
And yeah, I know it isn't much if anything at all. But I'd be glad to reimburse when I get more currency in my Paypal.Last edited by The Unintelligible; 12 Aug. 2012 at 08:01pm.

Alright.
How much are you looking for exactly? The most I'd probably be able to offer would be in the $50 range. If you honestly considered my initial offer tempting, then that price shouldn't be a big problem. And if it is, then no offense but I have no idea why you posted here in the first place considering I was looking for something of a charity.
I'm not exactly looking for deals in this thread.
Edit: If you're willing to accept my offer, I don't have the money at the moment. But it shouldn't take any more than a week or two to get that much.Last edited by The Unintelligible; 12 Aug. 2012 at 09:55pm.

I was being sarcastic in my initial post.
but I have no idea why you posted here in the first place considering I was looking for something of a charity.

Yeah, thanks, but no thanks.
Also for clarity: was looking for more of what Clover and Flareboy offered than an entire donation of a computer.Last edited by The Unintelligible; 12 Aug. 2012 at 11:00pm.

It has amazing replayability. I definitely think it's worth it. If I'm not mistaken, it's the second top played game on Steam at any given moment (behind Dota 2, which you should also get).
At the worst, it's worth trying. It may take you a while to get used to it, but worth pulling through. So fun.
Most replayability of any game I've ever played. Not to imply there is an end to it when I say replayability, but it's damn fun. You can play it for hours straight, or just open it up and play like ten minutes while you wait. It's not really a game you can get tired of. The more you play, the better you get, but not the less you want to play.
