Does the yellow hurt your eyes? I'm thinking of going for a yellow-on-black theme, but don't want to make it a pain just to browse the site.

Thanks, also, anyone have design ideas? I'm sick of my 1990's design.

Text on a black background tends to llok stupid. Text period looks stupid, like you don't know how to do any thing.
If you're not changing any thing else, change the link color. The blue is not going trk. All you most likley should not put things like "credit card scam" at the top of the page.
