No one FORCES you to rely on walmart, you do it of your own free will because they are willing to buy out all your inventory at a discount. If you don't want to sell it to them, other people do.

Yes. Yes I am. This is because these businesses can not buy things as efficiently as walmart because walmart, buying in bulk, has more leverage with prices. Because they have more leverage with prices, they can buy from the supplier cheaper, and because they buy from the supplier cheaper, they pass those savings to the CONSUMER. Yes, people lose money from selling to walmart, but inversely they save money from buying from walmart.

The large unemployment rate was due to the market crashing. It has very little to do with walmart. However many jobs walmart takes away, it also employs a large amount of people too. Does it employ as many people as jobs it takes? Probably not, but in the long-run that simply means that people working these jobs are better suited trk in another area of business, and not the current one. This is all beneficial to the efficiency of american markets.

Walmart has drastically changed how the workforce of america is situated. This is correct. But we don't live in some stupid fucking utopian paradise. Change is always going to happen whether you like it or not. Deal with it.
