If mentally superior now means people taking negative stand points on every topic they see, just to start an argument then suddenly vanish, or say something utterly simple minded such as, "be gone from my sight." when the poster they're antagonizing actually has a valid point, then yes. People do not have that ability to battle with mentally superior. Can't imagine why.

The mentally superior thing was sarcasm :p though over the internet is hard to detect online. Probably should have put quotes. On the other hand, the message is the same. Simply meet annoyances by shrugging them off. If you argue with them, you only set yourself up to get harassed more.
