I've done this project several times before as well. For rally's and towns as well as a zOMG client I've done.

Ah, I see. As have I. Though in Delphi/Object Pascal and AutoIt (probably a couple other languages not particularly worth mentioning as well) as opposed to more concurrent languages like C++.



This is my old Delphi prototype TCP client.


Anyway, I thought I'd recap this as I'm still interested in a few aspects of this project:

How do you plan on going about this exactly? Do you plan on using a graphical front-end? Or perhaps something like Doc did which was a standard Towns client clone in Qt4/CPP-- https://github.com/azkay/towns

In other words, is your project going to be something like the program shown above, or an actual Towns client made in Python and Tcl/Tk or a similar GUI widget library?
