Had a sour start to my weekend, Friday was just.....bad in terms of things that could go wrong. One of my students decides to bungle a simple operation and almost kill the patient he was working on, my tax returns have to be filed in a few days, my grandma's fallen sick, and I just found out that I have to attend another refresher course next week.
I'm too old for this shit.

For all the stuff that happens around here, LG itself is always remarkably unchanged. Thanks to the folks who still remembered I was once here and welcomed me back despite me being retarded.

That is quite a barrel of rabid monkeys, noobs.
In regards to the student, I'm sure he's feeling worse about it, and you shouldn't add that to the weight on your shoulders
since it wasn't actually you endangering someones life.
I say, "I'm too old for this shit." practically everyday.
Unfortunately, we're too old not to endure this shit and more will come as we age.
C'est la vie, I suppose.I am steady killin' fools.

I guess you're right, but there are times when I wonder if I've taken up a heavy responsibility at a young age by becoming second in line in the Neurology department, even at this time. That said, we're the ones who have to explain what went wrong in case a patient snuffs it because we let a student try gaining experience on them, by performing surgeries. Other guys in other departments who were less lucky end up getting an earful at the monthly death audits.
That said, life is never easy at the top in my profession anyway, considering that most people expect miracles from us all the time. And this without someone eating poo poo and dying on us all at once with no cause. My contributions:

hmm, a lot of people seem to be suggesting that I change my profession, and probably wouldn't mind if I became a full time internet bum either. moteWaitWhat:
I'm happy and all but I need to try to chill just a bit. You tend to simmer down once you hit your 40s, have a couple of little noobs running around, and a bunch of students that aren't total buffoons. My contributions:
